Hello! I am especially motivated on this gray rainy day. Days like these make me want to stay inside and just finish everything I have so whenever the nice days do actually come I can spend it outside. But who am I kidding? Living on the west side of Michigan the weather never likes to cooperate unfortunately. So here I sit writing to all of you lovely readers 🙂 is a site that analyzes the search results that come up when you type your name into a search engine. It ranks the results and asks you to go through the top 10 results and asks whether they are positive or negative posts. After going through the results it gives you a report card based on how accurate each page is. I scored an A+ (which is what I am hoping for in my Cap 105 class ;)). Here is a screenshot of my report card.

All of my results were about me and they were all positive. I did go through and used some of the recommendations the site gave me to boost my more professional sites higher up on the results list so I am easier found (shown in the above screenshot). I added my name to some of my profile bios, linked more of my social media and added my name to all my settings options for easier search results. I found this exercise very helpful and I will definitely go to this page and monitor my results in the future.

Have an amazing weekend!

  1. Katelyn,

I really like how you showed your score (great job) and how the website works! It really gives the reader a sense of how to do it on your own. Good work! 🙂
